Child Care Coalition of Manitoba formally affiliates to Child Care Now
The Child Care Coalition of Manitoba (CCCM) recently became an official affiliate to Child Care Now. The CCCM notes that “this exciting development formalizes a long-standing partnership rooted in shared values and a collective vision for accessible, high-quality, publicly funded child care for all.”
Morna Ballantyne, Executive Director of Child Care Now, welcomed the establishment of formal ties between the Manitoba child care coalition and Canada’s national child care advocacy association.
“As stated in the affiliation agreement, both our organizations recognize that both federal and provincial advocacy are essential to advocating our mutual early learning and child care goals,” Ballantyne said.
The Affiliate Partnership Agreement means that all members of CCCM will be considered members of Child Care Now by virtue of their membership in CCCM.
This Agreement will strengthen the existing relationship between CCCM and Child Care Now, including by actively partnering for events, campaigns and other initiatives to support each other’s activities.
Child Care Now encourages its Manitoba-based members to join CCCM, with a goal to grow the CCCM membership and strengthen child care advocacy across the province.
